Krystal Vallarta is one of Puerto Vallarta’s lowest-priced beachfront options, and it becomes one of PV’s biggest party hotels during Spring Break in March and April. The hotel itself is one of the lowest-quality in the area, but the beach is actually quite nice by Puerto Vallarta standards (it’s one of the best in the area; this helps the Overall Beach Resort Rating). However, the rooms are bare bones and worn, the food is below average (even for an all-inclusive), and the service gets inconsistent reviews. Positive features include a solid fitness center, a kids club, family-friendly rooms available with bunk beds, and off-site shops and restaurants within walking distance. Sea Safari, a company offering snorkeling and horseback riding tours, is within walking distance as well.
Complimentary on-site COVID-19 antigen testing is available for guests traveling back to the United States (up to two guests per room staying a minimum of three nights).
